Under New York LLC Law Section 206, all newly formed LLCs in New York State must publish a notice of formation in two newspapers (one daily and one weekly) in the county where the LLC's office is located, once a week for six consecutive weeks. Failure to comply can result in the suspension of your LLC's authority to do business in New York.
